“Women in…” was a series of Fulbright women’s panels on current topics. Below is a video of highlights from our Women in Tech: The Role of Mobiles & Mapping Toward Resilience & Recovery panel on Dec 3, 2014, featuring women in the mobile and mapping fields focused on crisis response and resilience-building.

We held a panel on May 14th, 2015, which featured Women in Tech: Quantifying the Impact of the Arts through Big Data and focused on the question: What can big data tell us about the economic and social impact of the arts? The discussion featured current trends, NYC’s own culture datasets, insights gleaned from different data artworks, as well as case studies based on collaborations with Carnegie Mellon and Drexel University researching the impact of the arts on cognitive development and learning. For more info and panelist bios, go to http://artsimpactdata.eventbrite.com.
